Warehouse Supervisor Role:
The Warehouse Supervisor will be responsible for managing the warehouse and maintaining an organized and standard setup of all warehouse inventory.
Responsible for the safety and security of warehouse inventory and equipment
Responsible for closing down the warehouse and locking up
In this role, you will handle various tasks including receiving and processing incoming product/stock and materials, and managing the whole process and movement through the warehouse.
Picking and filling orders from stock
Staging orders
Managing, organizing, and retrieving stock in the warehouse
Coordinating unloading of shipments and stocking the warehouse
Responsible for managing the weekly temporary employees who come in to assist with loading trucks – assist with reporting hours worked and any performance related issues
Organize orders by day for efficient installer pick up: Arrange orders for next day and stage Per pick up times
Manage installer load times: ensure installers stay within the assigned pick-up schedule.
Manage installers loading orders: ensure installers have what they need for each job 
Maintain accurate checklist/inventory of orders received by installers by job.
Maintain accurate levels of inventory and recommend units to order; organize and stage material, caulking, and trim for next day orders; label and rotate stock as it comes in to use, oldest first.
Coordinate schedule of dumpster pick-up and adjust schedule as needed.
Maintain inside and outside of warehouse clean and organize; clean parking lots and use magnet (to nails, screws, hazards) twice daily after installers leave (in AM and before leaving if any crews returned to load/unload).
Build and repair carts as needed.   Repair showroom displays.   Build shelving, racks, etc. as needed to maintain warehouse organized and clean.
Manually load and unload shipments – no forklift currently, with help from a team of resources on heavy receiving days.

Warehouse Supervisor Background Profile:
High School diploma or the equivalent
3+ years successful warehouse experience – full cycle warehouse experience including receiving, staging, stocking, inventory control, etc.
1+ years’ experience managing a warehouse
This role requires experience being the sole warehouse employee or part of a small warehouse team, and responsible for the day to day running of a warehouse.
Ability to lift/move objects 10 – 80 lbs
Ability to work in a warehouse environment that is not air conditioned or heated
MS Office Suite – ability to read and perform data entry in spreadsheets
Salesforce – can be trained on this
Prior experience: working for a Window and/or Door company, Millwork, or Window and/or Door installation is a Huge Plus  
Desire and ability to take initiative, “ own” the warehouse process, be self-motivated
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Regular and consistent punctuality and attendance is a must
Strong interpersonal skills, adaptability, and dependability
Ability to pass a comprehensive criminal background check
