Vice President of Revenue Cycle Management
Our client is in need of a Vice President of Revenue Cycle Management and can live in Aurora, Colorado,  Scottsdale, Arizona, or Bangor, Maine. This is a direct hire opportunity.

Vice President of Revenue Cycle Management Role:
Responsible for the overall development of strategy and directs operations of the entire Revenue Cycle.
Through management, oversight ensures the development of specific objectives, and performance standards for each area of responsibility and forward-looking are ultimately met.
Guides the Payer team in forward-looking opportunities to maintain existing relationships and develop new agreements that will support the BRH’s strategic growth objectives.
Ensure the 3rd Party Payer support is aligned with the internal team in maintaining payment collections.
Responsible for establishing and maintaining an operating budget for areas of responsibility (above), including capital request items. Ensures departments operate within approved budgeted levels, tracks and analyzes variances, and flexes budget as required.
Provides direction and coordination for the development and implementation of performance improvement and quality improvement for the revenue cycle.
Ensures compliance with company policies and directives, and Medicare rules and regulations. Supports the Compliance Officer, with the investigation of any issues of non-compliance and oversees the implementation of appropriate corrective regulatory procedures.
Ensures internal controls and review mechanisms are in place for key revenue cycle processes and ensures that policies and procedures are being followed correctly.
Maintains regular contact with direct reports and ensures that staff is kept abreast of issues and provides feedback on overall operations and specific issues.
Ensures communication and cooperation with third-party payers about any claim processing difficulties or new processing procedures.
Ensures a high level of customer service for all related parties, including patients, physicians, and other departments.
Prepares and conducts periodic performance reviews of assigned Managers and all direct reports.
Prepares revenue goals for the revenue budget, CFO, and Board, partnering with Finance.

Vice President of Revenue Cycle Management Background Profile: 
Bachelor’s degree from a recognized college or university required.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Healthcare Administration or Management preferred.
Master’s degree in Business or Healthcare Administration preferred.
10 + years of Revenue Cycle Management.
6-8 years of experience in a similar management position in the healthcare industry is required.
Candidate should possess appropriate technical (financial analysis) and managerial skills with a solid understanding of system and business processes, healthcare, financial issues, and strategic orientation.
Experience with System Implementations, Conversions, and Management.
Demonstrated ability to manage human, material, and financial resources.

Job Requirements

10 + years of Revenue Cycle Management. 6-8 years of experience in a similar management position in the healthcare industry is required.
