Our client in Northumberland, Pennsylvania has an immediate opening for a Vice President of Pharmacy on a direct hire basis.

Vice President of Pharmacy Role:
The Vice President of Pharmacy will steer and elevate the company's position within the Pharmacy domain. The role involves spearheading initiatives to enhance competitive edge, directing Lifestyle Initiatives, Wellness, and Pharmacy merchandising and procurement programs. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strategic vision, exceptional leadership, and an aptitude for driving team performance to achieve targeted sales, profits, and turnover.
Develop strategic goals and a vision for the Pharmacy department while ensuring the attainment of sales, profit, and turnover targets.
Innovate and implement initiatives to establish best-in-class Pharmacies by identifying market trends and championing new ideas.
Provide executive leadership, overseeing operations, fostering growth, and enhancing financial performance within the pharmacy operations.
Plan, supervise, and ensure accuracy in product dispensing and information while executing all pharmacy-related activities.
Implement operational efficiencies and oversee compliance with regulatory standards and corporate policies.
Strategically plan, execute, and evaluate outcomes aligning with the pharmacy department's strategic plans.
Manage and oversee the departmental budget effectively.
Vice President of Pharmacy Background Profile:
A minimum of 10 years' progressive Pharmacy management experience, preferably within a reputable multi-unit retailer.
Demonstrated expertise in Pharmacy operations and management with a focus on Clinical Pharmacy Services, Medical Nutritional Therapy, and Wellness programs.
Experience in MTM service models, enhanced clinical pharmacy services, and familiarity with third-party contracts and negotiations.
Strong leadership skills with a collaborative and results-driven approach.
Ability to articulate current and project future financial results and manage P&L effectively.
Proficiency in Microsoft business programs and basic computer functions.
A valid and up-to-date Pharmacist license is essential.
Experience with Specialty and Central Fill Pharmacies.
