Job Description
Our client in Irving, Texas has an immediate need for a Treasury Associate on a direct hire basis.

Treasury Associate Role:
The Treasury Associate will manage daily treasury operations to ensure the Company meets its financial commitment.
Develop and execute monthly cash forecasts and coordinate loan renewal paperwork.
Supervise 50+ cash accounts by preparing necessary documentation for accounting entries.
Foster strong relationships with the MCA Finance Department and banking institutions.
Oversee payment processing and implement measures for fraud prevention, guaranteeing accurate and prompt handling of outgoing wires, check payments, and positive pay transactions.
Address audit inquiries promptly, including direct communication with banks to resolve discrepancies and collaborate with auditors to confirm bank balances.
Leverage cash management platforms like Bank of America CashPro for efficient operations.
Uphold adherence to treasury policies, accounting standards, governance protocols, and internal controls.
Support Treasurer and Accounting Manager during year-end external audits by organizing schedules and providing documentation.
Monitor financial performance of lenders at the JV level and maintain comprehensive records.
Aid in the preparation of tax forms such as 1096 and 1099, and ensure compliance with U.S. Bureau of Economic requirements.
Contribute to fixed asset management and annual inventory processes.
Assist in implementing and managing the annual Document Retention process.
Handle various administrative accounting duties including sending certified mails, printing, mailing, and depositing checks.
Treasury Associate Background Profile:
Bachelor's degree preferably in finance, accounting, or business
Minimum 3 years of experience in cash management, treasury or finance environment
Advanced Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point) required
Familiarity with online banking desirable
GL accounting background
Understanding of loan agreements and financial markets, particularly banks, is a plus
Excellent analytical and critical thinking
Ability to develop and maintain professional relationships
Ability to multi-task and manage competing deadlines
Strong organizational, planning and reporting skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
