Transportation Manager Role:
In this role you will direct and lead all operation functions required to maintain the quality of service within this division.
Manage client contract performance to service level and profit/loss expectations
Build strong relationships with clients; ensuring the company brand standards and values are consistently represented
Oversee vehicle fleet in accordance to regulatory, company and industry standard
Direct and oversee vehicle fleet maintenance protocols, including scheduled and emergency maintenance
Assigns and/or reassigns service capacity upon demonstrated need or request by the client
Coordinate with Network Development the develop network deployment strategies to maintain or exceed performance standards
Promote and represent a culture of safety, security and sensitivity across the company network
Coordinate with Network Development to manage safety and monitoring program through review of all events
Resolve operational issues, accidents, and/or passenger complaints, accurately reporting items to the Authorities in a timely manner per regulator laws and company policies
Performs or reviews periodic inspections of all network vehicles and provider/operators for quality assurance
Ensure all vehicles meet the highest of safety and cleanliness standards
Liaison between the company and Network for all on the ground needs
Attend monthly client meetings to provide performance statistics and updates
Transportation Manager Background Profile:
Bachelor’s degree is required
3+ years of experience in a related transportation industry such as paratransit, non-emergency medical transportation, rideshare programs that deploy independent operators
MS Office Suite – especially strong in Excel
Strong entrepreneurial mindset
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent relationship builder and client facing
Strong customer service skills
Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence and memos
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients and other cross-functional groups
Communicate effectively with internal Operations and Safety staff and external partners
Strong collaborator and active voice in the growth of the organization
