Our client in the Dallas/Fort Worth area is seeking a Training and Development Manager on a direct hire basis.

Training and Development Manager Role:
In this role, you will be responsible for working cross departmentally in an effort to understand training needs - current, present and future, and develop processes and programs to address training gaps. 
You will gain an understanding of the company’s operational goals and objectives and eagerly create effective training methods that will foster the company’s continued growth and success.
Design, implement, and deliver training programs aimed at enhancing the skills of the company’s workforce and boosting employee performance and retention.
Collaborate with field leadership to generate training content and materials, ensuring comprehensive coverage of training topics, methods, and processes. 
Stay updated on the latest developments in workplace training methodologies and industry trends, including competitor insights. 
Evaluate the effectiveness of training strategies by conducting post-training assessments. 
Develop printed and instructional materials for distribution during training sessions. 
Continuously explore contemporary training methods and best practices to enhance employee training. 
Engage in regular meetings with senior leadership to identify areas requiring additional instruction or subject matter attention. 
Create internal marketing materials for company-wide dissemination to announce training programs and details. 
Oversee the selection and management of resources, including collaboration with internal personnel and training vendors for program development and delivery. 
Manage the necessary technologies for training development, administration, and delivery. 
Keep abreast of evolving training trends, developments, and best practices.


Training and Development Manager Background Profile:
High School diploma or the equivalent
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, or training and development preferred
5+ years of experience in training and development
Ideally some management experience in training and development
MS Office Suite 
Demonstrated success in developing and executing effective training programs and initiatives.
Demonstrated experience in analyzing company needs, lesson planning, development, and implementation.
Profound knowledge of instructional theories for creating effective educational materials. 
Previous experience delivering instruction in a corporate group setting. 
A strong grasp of business objectives and customer service standards. 
Strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as interpersonal skills
Ability to interact with all levels within the organization.
Proven track record in developing annual training plans and materials for all company departments. 
Ability to efficiently organize and manage multiple concurrent training initiatives.
