Technical Sales Support Engineer Role:
In this role you will support the sales activities of the company revolving around providing technical expertise and assistance to sales representatives, engineers, contractors, and customers.
Your technical guidance will ensure successful application and sizing of company products.
Responsible for managing the selection of special options, coordinating with company employees for submittal sets, and acting as a liaison between the factory, sales representatives, and management to facilitate smooth operations and profitable sales.
Provide technical guidance to representatives on the proper application of company products.
Offer technical guidance to representatives in selecting appropriate options and accessories for products based on application requirements.
Manage the selection of special options and features to ensure trouble-free equipment operation and successful sales to representatives and their customers.
Collaborate with the Engineering Manager to create and update submittal sets for customers.
Act as a point of contact between the factory and representatives, providing updates on order status, credit paperwork, pricing accuracy, and submittal package accuracy.
Serve as a liaison between representatives and management, conveying information on market conditions, field issues, representative feedback, competitive insights, and quotation closure rate.
Adhere to all Quality and Environmental Management System policies, objectives, and obligations.
Technical Sales Support Engineer Background Profile:
Bachelor’s degree or military background
1-4 years of experience – heavy training will be given to the selected candidate
Recent graduates who are looking to grow in their career are encouraged to apply
Residential or Commercial HVAC experience – high level of technical proficiency – candidates with this experience will be given first consideration
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to effectively convey technical information to various levels of employees and customers
Strong organizational skills and multitasking skills
Desire to work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to travel 2-3 times per year
Monday - Friday schedule but flexible for occasional OT and weekend hours
