Technical Customer Service and Order Entry Representative Role:
In this role, you will be responsible for assisting customers over the phone and via email with questions, issues, and troubleshooting and you will receive orders from various sources and you will ensure the accuracy and completion of all orders.
Process all incoming orders in the US as well as International through call in orders, faxed orders, orders received via the client’s website, and EDI orders.
Manage problematic EDI orders
Audit all orders for accuracy
Maintain accurate documentation and copy/file orders
Provide a professional and outstanding customer service experience through answering questions on pricing, order status, and order availability
Make outbound calls and respond via email to follow up on customer inquiries
Answer inbound calls and emails from customers and potential customers on service-related topics
Respond quickly and professionally to email inquiries
Responsible for processing Return Merchandise Authorizations
Technical Customer Service and Order Entry Representative Background Profile:
High School diploma or the equivalent
College degree and/or coursework is a plus
Bilingual in Spanish is a plus, but not required
2+ years’ experience working in a call center environment providing exceptional customer service and assisting with troubleshooting issues
2+ years’ experience working in an order department for a company and assisting customers with placing their orders, pricing questions, product questions, etc.
Excellent customer service skills
Trouble shooting experience is necessary
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience in a mechanical or automotive industry is a plus, but not required
Technical experience assisting customers and helping troubleshoot issues is required and could be from fields such as cell phone providers, automotive industry, help desk, etc.
Experience with MS Office Suite – specifically Word, Excel and Outlook
Strong data entry and typing skills – 50 WPM with 90% accuracy
No job hoppers will be considered – good tenue is a must
Ability to multi-task, provide excellent customer service, and calm a frustrated customer
