Role Overview
As the Tax Partner, you will lead our tax department, ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations while providing strategic tax planning and advisory services. Reporting to the firm's partners, you will manage a team of tax professionals and deliver exceptional client service.
- Develop and implement tax strategies to optimize clients' financial positions.
- Offer expert advice on complex tax matters and propose innovative tax solutions.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for high-profile clients, maintaining strong relationships.
- Oversee tax return preparation and review for accuracy and compliance with regulations.
- Stay updated on tax laws, advise on compliance, and mitigate tax-related risks.
- Lead and develop a team of tax professionals, providing feedback, delegating tasks, and ensuring quality standards.
- Collaborate with partners to identify business growth opportunities and participate in client meetings.
Background Profile
To be successful in this role, you should possess:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- CPA certification
- 10+ years of experience in tax planning, compliance, and advisory services
- Strong technical knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws
- Proven leadership skills and ability to motivate teams
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
