Tax Director
Our client, based in Dallas, TX, is seeking a skilled Tax Director for a direct hire opportunity.

Tax Director Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead the Practice Area specializing in High Net Worth Individuals (HNWI) and Partnerships
- Oversee 3-5 major engagements for key clients, ensuring comprehensive tax planning, preparation, and advisory services
- Supervise and assign tasks to Managers and Seniors for 15-20 smaller engagements, acting as the primary client contact
- Address any complex audit issues during State or Federal audits
- Review the work of Tax Managers and Seniors within the same practice area
- Mentor and support the development of junior staff
- Conduct performance evaluations for Seniors and Managers
- Collaborate with Shareholders and Practice Area Directors on firm-related projects
Tax Director Requirements:
- Active CPA license is mandatory; J.D. or L.L.M in lieu of CPA will be considered
- Minimum of 10+ years of tax experience with at least 5 years in public accounting
- Ability to manage multiple client engagements and teams concurrently
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Preferred experience with HNWI and Partnerships in industries like Oil & Gas, Energy, Manufacturing, Real Estate, or Financial Services
