Job Description
An established, financial planning firm in West Houston is seeking a highly detail-oriented Tax Analyst to support advisors in delivering personalized financial strategies. This is a direct hire opportunity.

Tax Analyst Role:
The ideal Tax Analyst thrives in a detail-driven environment, balancing multiple deadlines while maintaining a big-picture perspective
Will analyze and project individual, state, and trust tax estimates using specialized tax software
Provide tax planning insights and recommendations to advisory teams
Develop asset allocation models and rebalance schedules using Excel
Prepare estimated tax payment vouchers for individuals and trusts
Interpret and assess financial planning software outputs
Generate and process client invoices
Compile and organize data for quarterly investment committee meetings
Support various analytical projects and administrative tasks as needed
Tax Analyst Background Profile:
Enrolled Agent, CPA, or CPA candidate in progress
At least three years of hands-on experience in individual tax preparation, with a strong preference for those familiar with federal, state, and trust tax filings
A knack for problem-solving, data interpretation, and structured analysis
Strong skills in Excel and the ability to quickly adapt to new software
A self-starter who can work independently while collaborating effectively within a team
A meticulous approach to reviewing financial data and ensuring accuracy
Clear, professional communication and the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently
A mindset of continuous improvement and professional growth
Investment knowledge is not required for this role
