System Administrator / Desktop Support
Our client, located in Phoenix, AZ, is in need of a  contract to possible hire Systems Administrator / Desktop Support Specialist.

Company Profile:
Full service commercial truck center with locations across the United States

Your Role:
The main purpose of this role is to administer all of the IT needs, which includes operations, maintenance, installation and configurations, etc. of all of the hardware and software systems and related infrastructure
Set up of computer workstations. This could include installation of new equipment or rebuilding existing equipment, configuration of hardware, peripherals, services, settings, directories, storage, etc. 
Mobile device setup and configuration
Active Directory – create, change, and delete user accounts 
Troubleshoot and investigate issues
Recover and repair hardware/software failures
Apply OS patches and upgrades on a regular basis

Background Profile:
Degree preferred, but is not required for this role
Certifications such as MCSE are preferred, but are not required 
HANDS on IT experience is REQUIRED
4+ years of IT experience REQUIRED
Must have Active Directory experience
Basic Network troubleshooting skills
Must be organized
Independent worker who does not require a lot of direct oversight
Previous experience with phone systems
Must be a people person that can break down technical jargon and explain it in layman’ s terms
Must have dependable transportation and the ability to travel within the state when needed
Regional coverage for multiple locations in Phoenix, Tuscon and Flagstaff  when needed.   May require travel out of state as well, but this should be limited to special circumstances.
Must be ok working in a shop environment when needed
Must be able to be on your feet for an extended period when needed
Must be able to stoop, crawl, etc.
Experience working with 3rd party vendors for software issues
