Our established Dallas, TX Structural Engineering client is looking to hire a full-time Structural Engineer to join their team on a direct hire basis.

Structural Engineer Role:
Responsible for designing, analyzing, and ensuring the structural integrity of buildings, highways, bridges, and other infrastructure projects.
Collaborate closely with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to deliver safe, efficient, and innovative structural solutions.
Develop structural designs and calculations for various projects, ensuring compliance with applicable codes, standards, and regulations.
Conduct thorough structural analysis using software tools and manual calculations to evaluate load capacities, stability, and performance of structures.
Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and technical reports for construction purposes.
Perform site inspections and assessments to verify construction progress and address any structural issues or modifications.
Provide technical guidance and support to project teams throughout the design, construction, and commissioning phases.
Stay updated on industry trends, advancements in structural engineering technology, and best practices to continuously improve design methodologies and processes.
Participate in meetings, presentations, and client interactions to communicate project requirements, progress, and recommendations effectively.
Ensure adherence to project schedules, budgets, and quality standards while maintaining a strong focus on safety and sustainability.
Mentor junior engineers and support their professional development
Structural Engineer Background Profile:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field required. Master's degree preferred.
Professional Engineer (PE) license or EIT certification preferred
Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in structural engineering, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
Finite Element Analysis (FEA) experience required.
Proficiency in structural analysis software such as MicroStation, Revit, SAP2000, ETABS, RAM or similar programs preferred.
Strong knowledge of relevant design codes and standards such as ACI, AISC, ASCE, and IBC.
Experience with Building Information Modeling (BIM) software is desirable.
