Store Manager Role:
The Store Manager will be responsible for maintaining a tidy sales floor, free from debris, clutter, and dust, while also implementing strategies to minimize shrinkage to less than 1% through effective training and prevention measures
Provide comprehensive training to the sales team to enhance their effectiveness in meeting daily, monthly, and quarterly sales goals
Develop and implement sales strategies in collaboration with the team to drive revenue growth
Create engaging sales drivers, contests, and motivational initiatives to inspire and incentivize the sales team
Manage payroll and optimize staffing schedules to ensure timely delivery of services
Implement accountability charts, checklists, and logs for efficient organization and presentation on a daily basis
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the back-of-house area, optimizing storage and facilitating ease of selling
Report to the CEO and leadership team on store operations, staff performance, and opportunities for growth
Oversee daily restocking, minimize damages, and ensure accurate inventory level
Manage markdowns and pricing on apparel and footwear, while ensuring accurate sales stock records and addressing stock overages
Ensure adherence to company standards and guidelines by store staff regarding presentation and operations
Collaborate with Operations, Finance, and CEO to effectively hire and maintain staffing levels throughout the year
Store Manager Background Profile:
3-5 years of experience in a similar managerial role within the retail industry
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong understanding of fashion and cultural trends
Highly organized with a solution-oriented mindset
Meticulous attention to detail and ability to follow through on tasks independently
Ability to lift heavy objects frequently and handle physical demands of the job on a daily basis
