Job Description
Our client located in Houston, Texas is looking for a Staff Engineer to support the Air Permits Division. This is a direct hire opportunity.

Staff Engineer Role:
As a Staff Engineer you will be a key technical contributor, working alongside an experienced team on environmental projects.
Develop technical solutions, manage data, and ensure high-quality deliverables.
Deliver high-quality, timely work products that meet project requirements.
Staff Engineer will develop comprehensive emissions inventories for various facilities.
Stay current with state and federal environmental regulations.
Staff Engineer will perform accurate technical calculations, produce effective written reports, and utilize spreadsheets and databases for project deliverables.
Prepare detailed technical reports to support environmental permitting processes.
Analyze and interpret data for environmental modeling support.
Provide project support to team members at different career levels.
Meet billable hour targets and utilization goals.
Staff Engineer Background Profile:
Degree in Engineering or a relevant environmental/science field with an interest in environmental consulting.
Air permitting experience is a huge plus.
Strong organizational, technical, and analytical skills with a knack for detailed calculations.
Ability to manage priorities independently and meet deadlines efficiently.
Acute attention to detail and basic chemistry knowledge.
Experience in environmental consulting or the environmental field, and understanding of manufacturing processes is preferred.
