Staff Accountant
Job Description
Our client in Dallas, Texas is currently seeking a dedicated Staff Accountant to join their team on a Direct Hire basis.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial close processes to ensure accurate and timely reporting
- Record and post journal entries across various business functions
- Reconcile and maintain general ledger accounts such as cash, accruals, and intercompany transactions
- Administer full-cycle Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions, including billing, collections, vendor payments, and reconciliations
- Prepare financial statements and reports for both internal and external stakeholders
- Contribute to cash flow forecasting by tracking cash activity
- Oversee corporate credit card and expense management
- Ensure compliance with GAAP standards and internal controls
- Identify and implement process improvements in accounting systems
- Provide support for ad hoc finance-related initiatives
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Collaborate with HR for semi-monthly payroll administration
- Support sales and finance teams with commission calculations and deal validation
- Coordinate with external vendors for office operations support
- Assist with scheduling, travel arrangements, and general administrative tasks
- Maintain an efficient and organized office environment
- Act as a primary contact for office-related matters and provide operational support to leadership
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
- Minimum 3 years of progressive accounting experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel (e.g., pivot tables, lookups, data analysis)
- Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks or NetSuite
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
