Software Product Manager Role:
This Software Product Manager will be pivotal in leading initiatives within the Business Information Services Department. The position involves overseeing software development and updates for all company programs and the internal CRM systems.
Develop comprehensive documentation for software projects, defining scope, allocating resources, identifying gaps or conflicts, setting deadlines, and outlining communication strategies, testing procedures, and maintenance plans.
Gain a deep understanding of products and business goals to offer effective support and guidance to team members for achieving objectives.
Oversee and manage both new and existing product launches, collaborating with various internal teams.
Track project timelines, identify risks to critical deadlines, and communicate any conflicts or issues.
Liaise with internal teams to ensure that project-related tasks are completed on schedule.
Plan project blueprints, including scope definition, resource allocation, deadline setting, communication strategies, testing, and maintenance.
Participate in and supervise every stage of the project to ensure adherence to the schedule and deadlines.
Oversee consistent testing, evaluation, and troubleshooting of products throughout all stages of development.
Monitor milestones, deliverables, and change requests to ensure project success.
Communicate information about changes, milestones, and other relevant updates.
Offer backup to team members and perform additional duties as assigned or needed.
Software Product Manager Background Profile:
Bachelor's degree in information technology, software development management, software engineering, computer science, or a related field
Excellent time management skills
Experience with project management and communication tools, Slack, DevOps, and Jira.
Strong organizational, problem solving and analytical skills.
Experience with Microsoft Office Suites to include Excel at an intermediate level.
Passion to thrive in a constantly changing environment with shifting priorities.
Solid written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with executive level personnel.
Experience in writing and editing policy and procedures is preferred.
