Showroom Sales – Stone and Tile
Our client, located in Chicago, IL, is in need of a Showroom Sales with experience in Stone and Tile or closely related products for a Direct hire opportunity.

Has been in business for over 50 years
Three separate companies with multiple locations across the United States
Approximately 170 total employees
Very low corporate turnover
Showroom Sales Associate Role:
Engage with all customers coming into the store front locations and dealing with customers on the phone and online.
Directly market products and services while driving new business.
Work with customers’ requirements to identify product options that suit their needs.
Perform reporting as needed.
Develop your own client base through walk-in business to the showroom and through email and website inquiries
Reach out to existing customers and accounts to grow the business
Meet and exceed sales goals
Create a welcoming and high-energy vibe to attract clients
Become the product expert
Create design solutions that meet the needs of the client that include design and color trends
Enter client orders accurately into system
Stay in communication with clients on open orders
Be able to present creative solutions to problems that arise
Participate in vendor training on new products
Assist in training new sales people
Travel to client sites to update product library
Meet with perspective clients either in the showroom or at their location
Develop a book of business
Constantly pursue new business by networking with community groups
Showroom Sales Associate Background Profile:
Bachelor’ s degree preferred, but not required with experience
Degrees in business management, architecture design, interior design or industrial management are ideal
3+ years previous experience with Architectural Stone and Tile or other building supplies
Previous experience working with products sold to architects, interior designers and builders
Contacts within the industry would be a huge bonus
Strong computer skills
Must be willing to get out in front of the client at job trailers
Not afraid to cold call and knock on doors to build business
Must be able to work evenings and weekends when needed
Must have valid drivers license
