Our Houston, TX client is on the hunt for a Showroom Manager on a direct hire basis.

Showroom Manager Role:
Oversee all operational functions of Houston location including sales, staffing, receiving inventory, coordinating projects, etc.
Will recruit, orient and train all sales representatives.
Responsible for maintaining goals through coaching and disciplinary measures.
Responsible for staffing decisions including hiring and terminations.
Will assign employee duties and ensure goals and metrics are maintained.
Responsible for sales by identifying current and future customer needs and setting pricing policies for inventory.
Will promote the company and increase visibility in the community at networking events.
Ensure location is following proper policy for receiving, transferring, selling and reporting lost/damaged material to maintain accuracy of inventory.
Maintain operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures as well as safety and legal regulations.
Ability to work Monday through Friday from 8: 30am to 5: 00pm and occasional Saturdays (by appointment only).
Showroom Manager Background Profile:
Must have 3+ years in management and luxury sales experience.
Attention to detail, ability to multitask, and problem-solving skills are required.
Must have experience in the entire process of custom jobs orders from design, sale, production and installation.
Interior Design industry experience is preferred.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, outgoing/social personality, and dependable.
Must be able to lift 40-50 pounds.
Must maintain a professional appearance and follow established safety standards.
Quick learner with the ability to absorb client names, product names, and material knowledge.
Possess strong spatial skills and understanding of measurements, overhead plans, and instructions.
Working knowledge of office equipment such as Microsoft products, internet, scanner, fax, copy machine, as well as multi-line telephone equipment.
Experience with POS system and client management system required.
