Our North Dallas, Texas Law Firm Client is seeking a Senior Legal Benefits Manager to join their team on a direct hire basis.

Senior Legal Benefits Manager Role:
The Senior Legal Benefits Manager oversees the management of the firm's health, welfare, retirement benefit plans, and leave administration across all firm operations. In this role, you will lead initiatives to design, implement, communicate, and administer benefits that align with the firm's strategic goals and maintain our competitive edge. Responsibilities include coordinating with brokers, ensuring compliance with regulations, analyzing industry benchmarks, and optimizing plan cost-effectiveness.
Essential Duties:
Manage health and welfare, retirement, and leave programs efficiently.
Conduct analysis to evaluate and compare firm benefits with industry standards.
Lead the annual renewal processes for US and international locations.
Stay informed about federal and state benefits regulations and trends.
Oversee communication of new plans/programs and changes through various media channels.
Manage vendor relationships and oversee benefit documentation and compliance.
Ensure adherence to federal regulations such as ERISA, DOL, and the Internal Revenue Code.
Maintain compliance with HIPAA and the Affordable Care Act.
Ensure compatibility of benefit programs with the HRIS system for efficient reporting.
Handle benefit inquiries and complaints, ensuring timely resolution.
Supervise benefits records maintenance and enrollment processes.
Develop and monitor functional area budgets and goals.
Provide leadership and support for benefits staff.
Senior Legal Benefits Manager Profile:
Bachelor's degree with 7 years of progressive experience in benefit plan administration, or a master's degree with 5 years of relevant experience.
Prior law firm experience is required.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems.
Deep understanding of health, welfare, retirement, and leave functions. Skills:
Strong communication and persuasion skills.
Ability to strategize, troubleshoot, and analyze data.
Excellent management and leadership abilities. Education/Experience:
CEBS or equivalent certification preferred.
Self-funded medical plans, including active and retiree medical plans.

Health savings account plans (HSAs)
Dental plans
