Job Description
Our client located in Dallas, TX is hiring a Senior IT Lead Data Analyst. This is anticipated to be a six-month contract opportunity that is an in-office position.

Senior IT Lead Data Analyst Role:
The Senior IT Lead Data Analyst will support the Sales Operations team.
Will work with a team of other IT Lead Data Analysts.
Support the day-to-day flow of Sales Operations data to and from the data warehouse.
Main responsibility will be to monitor trends and patterns in complex data sets using SQL queries, Alteryx workflows, and excel.
Regularly review the quality of the data.
This role is not just analyzing data but regularly pulling and push data into useable formats used to manage the database and programming side.
Use SQL queries and Alteryx workflows using PowerBI to get data into useable formats.
Use data analysis to determine what drives the business and identify areas of improvement.
Collaborate with IT to understand how information is stored, modeled, and tagged.
Prioritize business and information needs requested by upper management
Later in the project take on the responsibility of training end-users on new reports and dashboards
Routinely interpret data results and provide actionable recommendations to support decision-making
Solve and address complex data-related challenges
Senior IT Lead Data Analyst Background Profile:
Minimum of bachelor’s degree in a related field
Senior Level IT Data Analyst or Business Data Analyst with a minimum of 6 years experience
Proven experience working with data lakes, data models, data warehousing, analytics, and business intelligence
Experience using custom methods and writing SQL queries
Must be familiar with most of the following: SSIS, SSRS, Power BI, Azure, Snowflake, Alteryx Designer and Server Excel, etc.
This is a technical role- candidates must be analytical, problem solvers, with strong communication skills.
Ability to understand large amounts of information with detail and accuracy
Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings
