Our client located in Houston, TX has an immediate need for a Senior Export Analyst on a direct-hire basis.

Senior Export Analyst Role:
Senior Export Analyst will provide expert guidance on export compliance activities by supporting the organization in ensuring adherence to U.S. export laws, particularly focusing on technology, hardware, and information transfer.
Utilize your advanced knowledge of export control regulations and demonstrate a collaborative, solution-oriented approach to managing compliance processes.
Senior Export Analyst will assist in interpreting and applying export policies and processes to ensure regulatory compliance.
Support the classification of hardware, software, technology, information, and data for export.
Participate in meetings with internal teams—including Center Directorates and Program Offices—to address export control issues and provide recommendations on regulatory interpretation.
Senior Export Analyst will process data from programs and projects for export license applications, coordinating the use of applicable exemptions and exceptions.
Conduct in-depth analyses of export activities to ensure full compliance with U.S. export control laws.
Foster excellent customer relationships by delivering high-quality, compliance-driven support.
Senior Export Analyst will comply with all federal, state, and organizational traffic and safety regulations.
Senior Export Analyst Background Profile:
Bachelor’s degree required
10 years of experience in progressively responsible roles related to export control and compliance.
EECN and BIS experience is desired
U.S. Export Compliance Officer certification (CUSECO) is preferred, though not required.
Advanced knowledge of export control processes and regulations, including ITAR and EAR.
Strong understanding of ethical considerations in trade compliance.
Strong Excel skills with the ability to learn new business software and database management tools.
Proven experience working with export compliance regulations in a highly regulated environment.
