Our client in Dallas, TX is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Business Intelligence and Visualization Analyst to join their dynamic team. Role Overview:
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and IT personnel to analyze extensive datasets, identify system enhancements, and generate impactful reports and dashboards utilizing Power BI.
- Create interactive dashboards, KPIs, and visualizations using Power BI.
- Develop scalable data management tools to streamline data processing and ensure accuracy.
- Oversee and maintain the Power BI Gateway infrastructure.
- Work closely with business units to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Conduct data integrity checks and help implement system upgrades within ERP frameworks.
- Provide insights that support strategic decision-making and operational efficiency.
- Offer technical guidance to enable teams to leverage data effectively.
- Advise on contemporary data infrastructure, including data warehouses and analytics platforms.
Background Profile:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering preferred.
- Minimum of 4 years' experience in a data analyst or business intelligence role. Proficient in SQL with hands-on experience in SQL Server management.
- Demonstrated expertise in creating dashboards and reports using Power BI. Skilled in data visualization, trend analysis, and ETL processes.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and basic accounting principles is advantageous.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to engage with technical and non-technical teams. Bonus points for proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, C++, or C#.
