Our client located in Dallas, Texas is looking to hire a Senior Accountant. Â This is a direct hire opportunity with a nonprofit organization.Â

Senior Accountant Role:
Senior Accountant will reporting directly to the Director of Finance and collaborating closely with other team members in our department
Efficiently process payroll for salaried and hourly staff across three entities on a bi-weekly basis
Handle payroll tax payments and quarterly 941 tax reporting
Senior Accountant will prepare annual W-2s and manage 403(b) pension submissions biweekly
Resolve payroll discrepancies for the Director of Finance, staff supervisors, and employees
Provide training and ongoing support to staff when entering contributions, pledges, and accounts receivable
Review and post revenue journal entries to the general ledger for multiple entities
Senior Accountant  will act as the primary contact for merchant accounts handling online contribution processing and reporting
Assist with contribution processing and troubleshoot revenue discrepancies for finance leadership and company management
Collaborate on pledge campaigns, reporting, and statement timing
Maintain accurate accounting records and reconciliations for operating and restricted accounts
Senior Accountant will process account transfers as required and support month-end entries and allocations for multiple entities
Fulfill monthly information requests from leaders
Support the implementation and maintenance of internal controls
Document finance department processes related to contribution processing and reporting
Senior Accountant Background Profile:Â
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent experience
3-5 years in Accounting
Strong emphasis on Payroll experience
Must have general knowledge of Quarterly Tax Reporting, Revenue Review, W-2’s, GL, and Internal Controls
Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word, with the ability to quickly learn new software programs
Preferred experience with CRM databases
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
