Our client in Orondo, WA has an immediate opening for a Sales Representative on a direct hire basis.

Sales Representative Role:

We are seeking a Sales Representative who will play a pivotal role in establishing and fostering strong, enduring customer relationships. This position holds the responsibility of orchestrating the sales of apples and cherries with the goal of maximizing the company's profitability. The role is dedicated to delivering unparalleled customer service and addressing customer needs. The Sales Representative collaborates closely with management and Inside Sales Representatives to effectively address inquiries and concerns. This position significantly contributes to the company's achievements.
Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the evolving market dynamics and cultivation conditions.
Develop and deliver persuasive sales presentations to both prospective and existing customers.
Cultivate and nurture professional relationships with retailers, vendors, and fellow team members.
Actively engage in special projects aimed at enhancing company operations.
Conduct daily inspections of the warehouse and assess fruit inventory.
Proficiently handle customer disputes, navigate freight-related issues, and interact with vendors.
Accurately prepare and meticulously maintain all sales-related records.
Identify and pursue novel business opportunities within the retail and wholesale sectors.
Identify and seize fresh sales prospects within the realm of established accounts.
Consistently meet monthly sales targets and efficiently close sales to propel revenue growth.
Occasional evening and weekend work may be necessary based on the demands of the role.

Sales Representative Background Profile:
A Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
A minimum of 3 years of experience in sales is required.
Sales experience in Apples and Grapes preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other pertinent software (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, familiarity with AS400 is advantageous).
Demonstrates an enthusiastic, confident, and outgoing professional demeanor.
Exhibits a profound understanding of the intricate fresh produce industry.
Showcases exceptional skills in both written and verbal communication.
Presents a proven track record in constructing and delivering impactful sales presentations.

Predominantly operates within an office environment, with occasional time spent in cold storage areas. Standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and photocopiers are consistently utilized.
This role may require up to 30% travel, primarily within the United States, which might include overnight stays. Occasional international travel could also be anticipated.

Mike Cook or as he is known in the industry "Grocery Store Mike", is a specialized grocery retail recruiter for Frontline Source Group. With more than 35+ years in the grocery retail industry, Mike started as a part-time courtesy clerk.
