Sales Representative – Upstream Valves
Our client, located in the Galleria area of Houston, TX, is in need of a Sales Representative with experience selling valves to upstream companies. This is a direct hire opportunity.

Company Profile:
Manufacturer of severe service valves for mining, oil and gas sectors
Has been around for 50+ years
Multiple sales office globally 

Sales Representative - Upstream Valves
Will communicate and collaborate with the engineering, offer management, project management, accounting and other departments at the company headquarters in order to provide the best solutions to the customer
Will be responsible for the complete sales cycle with the client, including      Bid, Negotiations, Order follow up, and      Receiving payment.
Responsible for achieving sales targets
Sales reporting to local management
Will mainly be working in the Houston area, but will need to travel overseas to company HQ up to twice a year
This person will work from home a majority of the time but will be responsible for reporting to the office in the Galleria area at least one time per week for meetings
Develop Upstream Market 
Visit customers that are in charge of the Upstream segment including end users, EPC’ s, Distributors, etc.

Sales Representative - Upstream Valves Background Profile:
8 years of oil and gas sales related directly to valves or piping equipment
Must know key individuals in the upstream market 
Experience working for valve manufacturers, valve distributors and other equipment manufactures that have the same customers would be ideal for this role
Strong communication skills
Experience establishing relationships with different departments in the upstream market such as research and development, engineering, purchasing, production, etc.
Strong team player
Must be persistent and be able to move the client through the different stages of sales
