Sales Representative – Architectural Design
Our Houston, TX client is in growth mode and is looking to hire a Sales Representative to join their team on a direct hire basis.

Company Profile:
Architectural and design industry leader
Well established firm, in business for over 60 years.

Sales Representative Role:
Develop relationships with clients to close profitable architectural solutions sales.  
Serve as the point of contact throughout the sales process.
Coordinate with clients, architects, designers, and additional consultants to ensure that the client’ s projects exceed expectations.
Create and present public presentation regarding architectural solutions.
Manage budgets, review inventory, and account for lead-times.
Create quotes and enter in sales orders and track the full sale from initial orders to project completion.
Track sales data and follow up on sales orders to submit to support along with related drawings for installation/builds and oversee billing and collections requirements.
Create business plan to account for building business and continued growth of related market share.
Engage in ongoing networking activities to promote business and research new marketing opportunities.
Work directly with designers

Sales Representative Background Profile:
Bachelor’ s degree is highly preferred, but will consider candidates without a degree that have a proven successful sales background
2+ years of previous b2b sales experience
Candidates who have sold products such as windows, window coverings, flooring, or other products involved in interior design would be ideal, but is not required
Must be able to show a successful sales background
A hunter personality who excels at developing relationships with decision makers and closing deals
Outstanding communication and organizational skills are a must
Must be an experienced negotiator
Ability to work with a diverse range of clients and excel at developing relationships
Previous architectural sales experience is beneficial
Solid computer skills, including MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
