Sales Manager Role:
In this role, you will report to the General Manager of the company and drive sales working with existing customers and new customers and markets. You will achieve growth objectives and provide timely and accurate pricing information to your customers.
You will be accountable for all customer relationships including existing, potential, and new customers.
Responsible for researching, developing, and executing the commercial strategy for the company and being the voice of the customer in all commercial related aspects.
In this role, you will be involved in setting and managing sales, targets, budgets, provide influence on gross margins, pricing as well as any accounts receivables.
Drive business results, entering new markets and territories globally.
Submits short and long-range sales plans and prepares sales strategies utilizing available marketing programs to reach nominated targets
Coordinate estimating activities by gathering proposals, drawings, specifications, and related documents.
Maintain company client database while identifying opportunities of growth with new and existing customers.
Responsible for meeting and exceeding customer satisfaction
Acquisition of new customers within target revenue and margins as set by the business.
Overall coordination of customer requirements including communication, distribution and tracking within the organization to ensure commitments are met
Analyze the current market and establish new sales strategies - forecasting, market trend direction etc.
Utilize all available resources in lead generation (cold calling, customer visits, trade shows) to reach potential clients and convert prospects into customers.
Coordinates customer requests and needs with internal departments for further processing and action.
Manage and handle customer complaints with other department and perform root cause analysis
Negotiate cost, timeline, technical specification etc., and provide consultation as needed
Create sales reports by using MS Excel and the company's system and report to upper management periodically
Accountable for development and execution of sales strategy in coordination with the management team with focus on new business development.
Sales Manager Background Profile:
5+ years of experience in sales, business development/account management in the aerospace industry
Understanding of the Aerospace industry is required
Ability to interpret engineering drawings and product specifications
Bilingual Spanish/English is a plus
Strong leadership skills and highly motivated
Desire to work in a fast-paced and team environment and be a positive influence on the team
Ability to multi-task and handle multiple projects, tasks, and demands concurrently
Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills and the ability to work cross functionally with all levels of personnel internally and externally
Ability to work in a timely and deadline driven environment
Excellent customer service skills and the ability to establish strong customer relationships
Strong analytical thinker
Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills
MS Office Suite – strong Excel for reporting
