Sales Associate – Stone and Tile
Our client, located in Atlanta, GA, is in need of a Sales Associate  with experience in  Stone and Tile  or closely related products for a Direct hire  opportunity.

If you enjoy working with architects, designers and builders helping their vision come to life in natural stone, we have a great opportunity for you.   We are representing a company that is 53 years old that own quarries, operates fabrication and production facilities and have beautiful showrooms across the country.   This role is a design and sales consultant position that is based in Atlanta, GA and works solely with residential. You will work with clients in the showroom, at jobsites and in their offices.   This company specializes in high end residential exterior, interior and architectural stone products with full custom capabilities. 

Sales Associate Role:
Engage with all customers coming into the store front locations and dealing with customers on the phone and online. Will spend a large amount of time going onsite with clients.
Directly market products and services while driving new business.
Work with customers’ requirements to identify product options that suit their needs.
Perform reporting as needed.
Develop your own client base through walk-in business to the showroom, through email and website inquiries and by calling on architectural design firms to build your own book of business
Reach out to existing customers and accounts to grow the business
Meet and exceed sales goals
Create a welcoming and high-energy vibe to attract clients
Become the product expert 
Create design solutions that meet the needs of the client that include design and color trends
Enter client orders accurately into system
Stay in communication with clients on open orders
Be able to present creative solutions to problems that arise
Participate in vendor training on new products
Assist in training new sales people
Travel to client sites to update product library
Meet with perspective clients either in the showroom or at their location
Develop a book of business
Constantly pursue new business by networking with community groups

Sales Associate Background Profile:
Must be sales driven and be able to meet and exceed sales goals
Bachelor’ s degree preferred, but not required with experience
Degrees in business management, architecture design, interior design or industrial management are ideal
3+ years previous experience with Architectural Stone and Tile or other building supplies
Experience with cast stone, fireplaces, kitchen hoods and cut stone for floors would be IDEAL!
Previous experience working with products sold to architects, interior designers and builders
Contacts within the industry would be a huge bonus
Strong computer skills
Must be willing to get out in front of the client at job trailers 
Not afraid to cold call and knock on doors to build business
Must be able to work evenings and weekends when needed
Must have valid drivers license
