Safety Manager Role:Â
Develop and implement safety programs, creating a culture in the workplace that values safety.
Meet with customers’ safety teams to coordinate additional safe work/programs.
Perform jobsite safety audits ensuring proper paperwork is completed.
Lead safety trainings and meetings with staff members.Â
Maintain thorough records and reports of safety files, audits, and inspections.
Report identifying possible accident causes and hazards.
Work closely with Electrical and Mechanical employees at various industrial sites including manufacturing facilities and chemical plants.
Lead safety improvements by identifying key indicators, areas of improvements, and short and long-term solutions.Â
Daily management and engagement involving safe work practice development and the evaluation and improvement of operating conditions to reduce risk.
Monitor, recommend and report corrective actions required by investigations, audits, and inspections, working with management to complete the actions.
Background Profile:Â
Bachelor’s Degree highly preferredÂ
Minimum of 5+ years of safety management experienceÂ
OSHA 500
Industrial or Construction Contracting industry experience highly preferredÂ
Ability to travel locally to client job sites throughout DFW
Strong knowledge and understanding of health and safety guidelinesÂ
Ability to develop comprehensive training programs and produce reportsÂ
Risk assessmentÂ
Excellent organizational and motivational skillsÂ
Attention to detail and observation ability
Exceptional verbal and written communication and interpersonal skillsÂ
