Revenue Processing Specialist Role:
Revenue Processing Specialist will lead the weekly processing of contributions for our organization.
Manage daily credit card processing operations.
Prepare revenue journal entries for review and posting by the Senior Accountant.
Liaise with leaders, addressing contribution inquiries and facilitating changes to giving methods.
Revenue Processing Specialist will handle pledge entry for annual campaigns and collaborate with the departments on contribution reporting.
Maintain an updated procedure manual for contribution processing, including merchant account software.
Process monthly rent for our office building and manage other income and receivables for related entities.
Revenue Processing Specialist will collaborate with team members on monthly revenue reconciliations and reporting.
Troubleshoot and resolve revenue discrepancies, providing valuable insights and solutions.
Support the implementation and maintenance of internal controls.
Assist with month-end procedures and reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Revenue Processing Specialist will contribute to the monthly closure of books and issuance of relevant reports, working closely with the Finance department.
Revenue Processing Specialist Background Profile:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent experience.
Experience in general ledger accounting, demonstrating a solid understanding of financial principles.
Preferred experience CRM systems and handling credit cards and merchant accounts.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word, with a knack for Internet and email usage.
Ability to quickly grasp and utilize our organization’s database system and various software programs.
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills, ensuring accuracy in all tasks.
