Restaurant and Retail Insurance Defense Attorney
Attorney must have excellent Arbitration skills
Represents clients with the restaurant and retail sectors
Candidate's primary role will involve providing legal counsel and defense strategies to these clients, particularly in insurance claims and disputes
Our clients are comprised of businesses, insurance companies, and individuals
Candidates will conduct comprehensive insurance claims assessments, investigate incidents, and evaluate liability within the restaurant and retail environments
Candidate must have expertise in arbitration in order to facilitate alternative dispute resolution processes, such as negotiation and mediation, to resolve disputes efficiently and favorably for our clients
Attorney must comprehensively understand arbitration agreements
Selected candidate must possess a deep understanding of the inner workings of arbitration, including familiarity with relevant laws, procedures, and strategic approach
Candidate must possess the ability to navigate situations where a plaintiff initiates court proceedings despite the existence of a dispute resolution clause mandating arbitration
The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in asserting and defending against motions to compel arbitration, ensuring that our client's interests are effectively represented
litigation experience is still valuable in case arbitration falls through
The candidate should have a track record of success in court proceedings, including motion practice and trial advocacy Â
Restaurant and Retail Insurance Defense Attorney Background
Candidate must have 5-7 years of Insurance Defense experience
Candidate must have Restaurant/Retail Business Arbitration experience
The applicant must be in good standing with the Texas State Bar
Prior experience prepping from intake to courthouse in lieu of arbitration
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Attorney must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
Candidate must possess the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
Candidate must be punctual and enjoy working in a team environment
Candidate must be able to multi-task in a very fast-paced environment
Candidate must have superior organizational skills
Law Firm Features and Benefits

This is a hybrid position, 3 days in office, 2 days from home
