Regional Manager
Job Description
Our Dallas-based real estate client is looking for a Regional Manager to add to their team on a direct hire basis. Must be located in Dallas and willing to travel overnight up to 70% of the time during peak seasons.

Regional Manager Role:
The Regional Manager oversees the performance and operations of a multi-property portfolio of Class A student housing communities.
Lead and develop Community Managers across multiple markets, including coaching, performance evaluations, hiring, and salary administration.
Drive operational performance, leasing, and marketing strategies in competitive student housing markets.
Oversee property operations, including maintenance, vendor management, capital expenditures, and compliance with policies and regulations.
Conduct regular property visits and market research to assess performance and stay informed on industry trends.
Manage budgets, reviewing financial reports, and recommending operational or capital investments.
Act as a hands-on, visible leader, providing guidance and support to ensure execution and accountability across multiple markets.
Maintain accessibility during nights, weekends, and extensive travel.
Regional Manager Background Profile:
Minimum 2 years of offsite regional management experience specifically in student housing (experience limited to single-property management or conventional housing regional work will not be considered).
5–10 years of professional experience in student housing operations, including leadership, leasing, marketing, and multi-market management.
Strong track record of leading teams in competitive markets.
Comfortable with heavy travel, including overnight and extended stays ~50-70%.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office; familiarity with property management software preferred.
