Wholesale/Distribution of Industrial Equipment

Regional FP&A Director Role:
In this role, you will provide support to a geographic area comprising about a dozen branch sites
Financial modeling; Volume/Rate/Mix Margin driver analyses
Prepare & distribute Performance Dashboard Metrics reports
Create/use tools to analyze monthly performance assessments by profit/cost center, forecasting and planning activities, and evaluating customer/product/job profitability.
Produce regular financial reports for company-wide dissemination
Spearhead the annual financial planning and monthly forecasting procedures, including delivering presentations to senior leadership.
Must understand inventory costing & management
Be responsible for hitting inventory and sales targets
Maintain a comprehensive understanding of business systems, including SAP, Power BI, and other Data Warehouses in order to diagnose business performance drivers
Regional FP&A Director Background Profile:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in Finance, Accounting, or Economics
MBA degree from an accredited college with a concentration in Finance is preferred
Experience in the Distribution industry is required
Minimum 5 years of relevant FP&A work experience
3+ years of experience spent as a financial leader/ partner to a business unit leader
Very strong finance background, supporting the sales team required
Demonstrated experience building reports and dashboards in Power BI or similar data visualization tool, leading monthly forecasting, and annual planning processes (encompassing sales, margin, costs, and key balance sheet metrics)
