Receptionist
Our Houston, TX client is looking for a Receptionist to join their busy office team on a contract to possible hire basis.

Company Profile:
Well established multi-state company that specializes in the rental and distribution of safety equipment for multiple industries.

Receptionist Role:
Responsible for front office presentation
Support staff in a proactive manner
Answer phones and route all phone calls to appropriate party
Order all office supplies including supplies requested by staff
Check mail daily, ship interoffice mail daily, and process outbound marketing mailing campaigns
Handle Pitney Bowes equipment and all mailing supplies while staying abreast of mailing regulations
Maintain kitchen and conference rooms daily
Perform some event planning
Research as needed
Editing proposals
Filing, scanning, and preparing documents
Assisting Engineering Technicians
With assist with registering of vehicles
Data entry of invoices
Assist with Accounts Payable filings and help prepare dailing deposits
Make switches of the phone system from day to night mode daily

Receptionist Background Profile:
3+ years of experience in a professional services environment
High School diploma required
Corporate receptionist experience is preferred
MUST have excellent phone voice and must have great customer service skills
Familiar with MS Word and Excel
Eager and willing to learn new software programs
Excellent typing skills are a must
Multi-task and prioritize assignments
Be personable to guests and communicate well with staff
Manage tasks independently with little or no supervision
Help other business units and administrative assistants when needed
Maintain a reliable and mature attitude
Be proactive and find tasks to assist other staff with when not busy
Previous experience with data entry of invoices into software systems such as QuickBooks, SAP, etc.
