Quality Specialist Role:
The Quality Specialist will be responsible for non-conformance, conformance action requests, change control, document management, and process flow charts as well as process mapping.
Provide support supplier management, investigations, auditing, and management reviews.
Responsible for document management activities including initiation of Document Change Notices (DCNs), maintenance of documents, monitoring progress of documents through the creation/revision process, and routinely review and circulate documents to ensure compliance with current practices.
Internal audits, preparation for and assistance during external audits, and supplier management issues.
Support or lead all relevant quality activities associated with manufacturing and inspection processes, procedures, and inspection requirements.
Participate in internal audits as well as support and participate in third party andcustomer audits as required.
Follow up on post-audit activities, including reports and corrective actions.
Support Quality improvement activities by participating on teams, collecting and analyzing data, identifying opportunities for improvement, and ensuring quality and process related documentation are updated.
Create, maintain, and use electronic data systems (Access, XA, etc.) to ensure accurate data.
Support or lead tracking of in-process product issues and performance metrics as required for trend analysis and driving continuous improvement.
Support the calibration process.
Facilitates internal training on quality assurance requirements, processes, and procedures.
Support the corrective action process on internal and external opportunities.

Quality Specialist Background Profile:
HS Diploma required, Associate’s degree or above preferred
Minimum 2 years of quality experience in a manufacturing environment
Strong analytical and computer skills to include common office software
(i.e. Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook)
Strong communication skills and ability to work cross functionally
Strong attention to detail
Knowledge and use of standard measuring devices
Knowledge of inspection procedures, techniques, specifications & drawings within a manufacturing environment
ISO Quality Management System experience
Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing Fundamentals, American Society for Quality experience a plus
Proficient with standard measuring devices
Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
