Growing company in Nashville, TN has a need for a Quality Assurance Coordinator - Healthcare with previous QA experience in the healthcare market on a direct hire basis.
Quality Assurance Coordinator – Healthcare role:
The Quality Assurance Coordinator – Healthcare will ensure quality programs related to service delivery throughout the state of Tennessee.
Responsible for coordinating all incident management efforts and providing oversight for addressing incidents and providing staff training associated with risk management.
Manages all aspects of the region’ s incident reporting program including communications, training, investigations and follow-up, reporting and record keeping.
In this role you will provide necessary incident training oversight as required by local, state, and federal regulations including basic CPR and First Aid.
Analyze incident data and responsible for preparing management reports.
Use data to identify potential exposure to the company and recommend appropriate protection measures and education programs.
Responsible for administrative duties to ensure employees have appropriate documentation, including for example physical exams, TB testing, etc.
Responsible for preventing abuse of clients by following screening requirements, attending training, communicating expectations and boundaries, ensuring accountability for policy violations, conducting investigations, and preparing reports for the Board.
Conduct program audits to measure compliance and effectiveness and develop and implement program updates.
Quality Assurance Coordinator - Healthcare Background Profile:
Bachelor’ s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
2+ years’ experience working in IDD is preferred
Must have previous QA experience in the Healthcare market, across multiple business units
Ability to travel 50% of the time
Demonstrated ability to develop, implement and deliver effective learning and development programs
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
Strong decision making skills
