Project Controller Role:
The Project Controller will be responsible for managing the financial aspects of projects, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and providing valuable analysis to support decision-making across various teams
Manage project budgets to ensure compliance with financial guidelines and policies
Prepare and analyze financial reports to provide insights into project performance
Track Work-in-Progress and trade receivables in coordination with the Accounting Manager
Offer financial support to the Operations team as needed
Work closely with project managers to create and monitor budgets throughout the project lifecycle
Leverage financial software to track expenses, forecast costs, and generate reports
Produce monthly reports on project status, customers, and business units
Assist in preparing quarterly and annual budgets and financial forecasts
Support audit processes by preparing required documentation and reports
Develop and monitor Key Performance Indicators to assess project and financial performance
Project Controller Background Profile:
A Bachelor’s Degree or higher, or equivalent relevant work experience in growth-driven, project-based organizations
Proficiency with various financial software applications for reporting and analysis
Strong ability to write clear, accurate financial reports
Excellent interpersonal skills with a positive and collaborative approach to teamwork
In-depth knowledge of budgeting practices and techniques for effective project management
Strong analytical abilities for conducting thorough financial analysis
Experience in general ledger accounting and maintaining accurate transaction records
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with a quick adaptation to new systems and tools
Capable of efficiently performing balance sheet reconciliations
Monthly travel required
