Program Director Role:
The Program Director will plan, implement, direct, and supervises activities of all T.O.R.I. program managers to ensure that the goals or objectives of each program are accomplished within a prescribed time frame and funding.
Parameters by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate employees.
Examines program proposal or plan to identify timeframe, financial constraints, methods for carrying out the program, staffing needs, and allocation of resources to various program phases.
Plans the workload and staffing for each program phase and makes arrangements for hiring or assigning program personnel.
Meets with program personnel to discuss the work schedule, allocate responsibilities, and define authority.
Oversees and organizes program staff operations to guarantee that the program advances according to plan and within the allotted spending limit.
Examines status reports provided by program staff and adjusts timelines or plans as necessary.
Creates program reports for clients, management, or other parties.
Holds meetings with program staff to discuss technical issues and find solutions.
Coordinates program operations with those of other governmental or regulatory organizations.
Present T.O.R.I. to the community and forge partnerships with local organizations
The ability to commute between Dallas and Fort Worth
Achieves human resource goals by hiring, selecting, onboarding, instructing, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining staff; outlining job expectations; planning, overseeing, evaluating, and reviewing job contributions; planning and reviewing compensation actions; and enforcing policies and procedures.
Contributes information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews, creates and completes action plans, implements production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards, solves issues, completes audits, spots trends, finds system improvements, and brings about change to achieve operational objectives.
Achieves financial goals by anticipating needs, creating an annual budget, planning expenses, assessing discrepancies, and taking remedial action.
Keeps up with industry developments by taking advantage of educational opportunities, reading trade periodicals, developing personal networks, and joining professional organizations.
Improves department and company reputation by taking responsibility for completing novel and unusual demands and by looking for ways to enhance job success.
Program Director Background Profile:
Master’s degree in a social service or related field with Licensure from the Texas State Board of Social Work Examiners with 3 to 5 years of supervisor experience working with at-risk/high-risk populations; may include part-time, volunteer, or internship experience.
Good knowledge base of Dallas and Ft. Worth community resources.
Skills in the following areas are preferred: Developing Budgets, Coaching, Supervision, Staffing, Program Management, Management Proficiency, Process Improvement, Tracking Budget Expenses, Self-Development, Planning, Performance Management, Inventory Control, and Strong Verbal Communication.
Must be vaccinated against covid.
