Our client in Houston, TX is looking for three Production Supervisors: an Automotive Paint Supervisor, Aluminum Assembly Supervisor, and a Mechanical Instillation Production Supervisor.

Production Supervisor Role:
The Production Supervisor is responsible for organizing, coordinating, and supervising employees and activities within the department to ensure that volume, cost, waste, and quality standards are achieved. 
Will coordinate work schedules for teams between 10-20 members, determine staffing requirements, and production sequences to maximize productivity. 
Monitor production activity while identifying process problems and troubleshooting causes and developing solutions. 
Work with HR regarding hiring needs.
Responsible for staff training and on-boards of new staff to the team. 
Communicate daily production schedule.
Determine what parts are required for production over the upcoming 1-2 weeks and order accordingly.
Schedule sequence of work and assign daily completion deadlines
Meet with the quality team to review defects, identify root causes of defects, and determine actions to reduce or eliminate them.
Monitor individual employee performance and train, or counsel them as needed.
Ensure resources are available for the team to complete work efficiently and on time.
Ensure the bill of materials are complete for each job order and confirm quantities of materials required.
Automotive Paint- responsible for the prep, paint, and buff. Coordinate with outside vendors when specialty paint jobs are required. Manage 10-12 employees.
Aluminum Assembly- supervise the welding of 15-20 employees. Build out of products using tubing kits for production. 
Mechanical Installation Production Supervisor- the team will take apart and rebuild the automobile, with no engine work. Supervise the installation of products required for the build as well as custom products.  
Cross-training technicians.
Encourage and enforce a Safety First mindset.

Production Supervisor Background Profile:
High School Education Diploma/GED required
3+ years of experience in a manufacturing, distribution, paint, or service shop environment.
Must have a Junior Supervisor or Supervisor title leading a team of 5 or more
Automotive Paint- looking for more technical candidates familiar with the automotive production paint process
Aluminum Assembly- must have 3 years of welding experience
Mechanical Installation Production- must have experience managing mechanical instillation in a manufacturing setting
Experience with automotive and/or mechanical assembly processes is strongly preferred
Completion of Safety Classes, OSHA 10 or 40 highly preferred
Lean Six Sigma and Manufacturing training 
Google G-Suite experience is great to have but not required
Open to working 1 weekend a month when needed
