Produce Manager Role:
The Produce Manager ensures that produce items are maintained full and fresh. Works closely with produce personnel on daily operations and promotes customer service.
Strong produce product knowledge and financial acumen in the retail grocery industry.
Order merchandise to maintain freshness and stock levels.
Product merchandising.
Utilizing daily sales data to reduce shrink by proper production output.
Use detailed reports on sales, profits, and trends to make purchasing decisions.
Train and develop department employees.
Adhere to all state, local and company policies and regulations on health and safety.
Work with leadership to execute and promote company directives and promotions/campaigns.

Produce Manager Background Profile:
High school Diploma or GED and three or more years of related experience; or an equivalent combination of experience and/or higher education required.
Food Safety Management certification required.
Able to pass a criminal background check.
Ability to work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
