Our Texas based law firm in Dallas, Texas is seeking a dynamic Probate & Estate Planning Paralegal to join their team.

Probate & Estate Planning Paralegal Role
The Probate & Estate Planning Paralegal will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth administration of estates and probate matters, while adhering to legal procedures and regulations.
Prepare and file probate applications.
Communicate efficiently with clients to gather necessary information.
Coordinate the execution of prove-up documents.
Schedule and manage hearings with the court and clients.
Draft various legal documents, such as Waiver of De Novo and Notice of Hearing.
Ensure accurate execution and electronic filing of final documents post-hearing.
Obtain Letters and relay post-hearing details to clients.
Oversee the Notice to Creditors process.
Draft and handle communications regarding Inventory/Affidavit in Lieu.
Draft and file applications pertinent to heirship proceedings.
Gather essential details from clients through effective communication.
Prepare legal documents, including Motion to Appoint Attorney Ad Litem.
Coordinate witness information and ensure compliance with service/publication requirements.
Communicate hearing details to clients and witnesses through drafting Notice of Hearing.
Ensure accurate execution and electronic filing of final documents post-hearing.
Obtain Letters and communicate post-hearing details to clients.
Manage the Notice to Creditors process and handle communications regarding Inventory/Affidavit in Lieu.
Coordinate the acquisition of Bonds when necessary, including signing and delivery.
Prepare Executor Deeds and manage electronic recording processes.
Draft Affidavits of Heirship and oversee electronic recording.
Conduct regular Estate Administration update meetings with attorneys.
Maintain an Estate Administration due date/activity chart, regularly reviewing it with attorneys.
Stay informed about county-specific e-filing requirements.
Update and revise Estate Administration forms as required.
Close Estate Administration files and issue closing letters to clients.
Provide backup support for Estate Planning when necessary, including drafting and signings.

Probate & Estate Planning Paralegal Background Profile 
Prior experience as an Estate and Probate Administration Paralegal (ideally 4+ years).
Thorough understanding of Estate and Probate legal procedures and requirements in Texas.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Proficiency in legal software and tools.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
