Plant Manager
Our client just north of Tampa, FL is seeking a Plant General Manager on a direct-hire basis.

Plant Manager Role:
Plant Manager will set the plant's strategic goals by optimizing production efficiency, cut costs, and boost profits through smart policies and procedures.
Oversee day-to-day manufacturing, machining, fabrication, and finishing.
Ensure the production schedule is met and that products meet quality standards.
Plant Manager manages resources (people, materials, equipment) to maximize output and efficiency.
Put in place quality control measures and establish strict quality assurance protocols. 
Work with quality teams to solve any product quality issues.
Foster a strong safety culture and carry out regular safety audits and take corrective action when needed.
Plant Manager will lead, mentor, hire, train, and develop a skilled workforce that's committed to quality and improvement.
Develop and manage the plant's budget to balance costs and efficiency while improving profitability.
Manage procurement of raw materials and keep inventory levels optimal for production.
Plant Manager builds strong relationships with suppliers and negotiate favorable terms.
Work with sales and marketing to stay on top of market trends and customer demands.
Deliver products and services that meet or exceed customer expectations.
Promote eco-friendly practices and initiatives that benefit the planet.
Reduce the plant's environmental impact wherever possible.
Plant Manager generates regular reports on plant performance, including financial and production metrics.
Use data and insights to make informed decisions and drive improvement.

Plant Manager Background Profile:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Management, or Business (Master's preferred).
8-10 years of leadership experience in manufacturing.
Expertise in metal manufacturing processes, equipment, and industry best practices.
Proven track record of driving operational excellence in manufacturing plants.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in budget management, financial analysis, and strategic planning.
Familiarity with safety regulations and environmental compliance in manufacturing.
Ability to make data-driven decisions and adapt to changing market conditions.
Commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
