Payroll Manager
Our client in West Dallas, Texas is looking for a Payroll Manager on a direct hire basis.

Payroll Manager Role:
Payroll Manager will oversee all aspects of payroll processing process for about 1500 employees across the country. 
Responsible for ensuring payroll processes run smoothly semi-monthly. 
Lead a team of payroll professionals, develop and implement payroll strategies, and support company initiatives. 
Payroll Manager will collaborate with local managers to process special payrolls for specific business segments, ensuring accurate tracking and calculations of work hours, locations, and rates to maintain compliance.
Oversee all aspects of payroll processing, including salaries, garnishments, taxes, benefits, and deductions.
Payroll Manager will develop and implement a comprehensive payroll strategic plan.
Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
Analyze payroll data and provide recommendations to leadership.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including HR, Finance, and IT on implementing and updating systems, vendors, data needs, testing processes, audits, financial tasks, and reports.
Maintain accurate and detailed payroll records and reports.

Payroll Manager Background Profile:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, HR, Finance, or a related field
Active CPP certification is preferred
At least 7 years of end-to-end payroll experience in a multi-state environment
Minimum 6 years of payroll management experience: lead, supervisor, assistant manager, etc. 
Recent experience with ADP is a plus
Strong knowledge of multi-state tax and wage/hour laws
Experience with prevailing wage and certified payrolls
Experience with stock tax reporting is preferred 
Bilingual in Spanish is preferred
