Payroll Assistant / Data Entry Clerks Role:
The Payroll Assistant / Data Entry Clerks will process daily time and attendance including PTO, Leave, FMLA, attendance issues, etc.   for 23, 000+ contract and non-contract personnel utilizing the company’ s automated time and attendance system, and get it ready for payroll, then transfer to the payroll department who will do the actual payroll.
The Payroll Assistant / Data Entry Clerks will interact with Employees and Leadership to assist in research relating to Employee’ s payroll and attendance.
Responsible for delivering positive, quality customer service to Employees and display a friendly and helpful spirit.
This role will have direct supervision, and will audit and record all exception hours for several Employee groups, as well as audit and verify all overtime hours for several Employee groups.
Audit and maintain attendance records for several Employee groups.
Communicate information to Station Supervisors via email and telephone.
Prepare and provide various time and attendance payroll reports to management.
Responsible for operating standard office equipment such as copy machine, fax machine, ten-key calculator, etc.
General office responsibilities including filing, distribution of miscellaneous documentation and answering phones.

Payroll Assistant / Data Entry Clerks Background Profile:
The Payroll Assistant / Data Entry Clerks will have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Some college coursework is preferred.
Must be able to work 8 hour shifts with 2 consecutive days off, including weekends and holidays.
Must be able to work 8 hour shifts between the times of 4am – 7pm/7days a week. Start times would be between 4am – 10am.   You will keep a consistent schedule per quarter - Seniority shift bid once a quarter.
Prior payroll experience or working knowledge of automated time and attendance systems preferred.
Must have PC skills and a working knowledge of MS Word and Excel.
Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy is a must.
Ability to work fast and accurately.
Outstanding customer service skills.
Strong ability to multi-task and strong organizational skills.
Ability to work in a limited space with constant interruptions.
Must have excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
