Our client located in Lone Tree, Colorado would like to hire a Patient Finance Representative to join their busy practice for a direct hire opportunity.

Patient Finance Representative Role:
The Patient Finance Representative is responsible for patient finance, medical billing, and managed care insurance.
Provide excellent customer service to the patient in person, through electronic communications, and over the phone.
Ensure patients understand the financial responsibilities associated with their care.
Records all patient conversations in the financial notes.
Meets with new patients following their initial consultations to discuss costs, insurance, and any patient questions.
Checks patient benefits for all who have insurance benefit changes.
Responds to and complete inquiries and other communication from the patient portal.
Collect patient payments for services and past-due balances.
Collects credit card authorization forms.
Assists patient and significant other with insurance questions.
Provides insurance company with required information for pre-authorization for procedures.
Patient Finance Representative Background Profile:
High school diploma required. Bachelor’s degree in finance or business preferred
A minimum of three years of previous experience related to medical billing or as a medical receptionist is required
Must have experience explaining medical billing, invoices, and insurance coverage
Must have experience working with medical insurance coverage
