Our Houston, TX client is on the hunt for an Administrative Assistant to join their team on a contract to possible hire basis.  This job will start out as a part-time opportunity (approx. 25 hours per week) that will continue to grow and will eventually end up as a full-time opportunity.

Company Profile:
Growing petrochemical company with over 30 years in business.

Administrative Assistant Role:
Offer general administrative supportive office to the Houston team.
Serve as a receptionist and direct visitors as needed.
Perform duties including filing, managing office supply inventory, recording maintenance activities, and additional clerical functions as needed.
Manage the document archiving processes.
Work hand-in-hand with the Global Administrative team to ensure consistency from office to office.
Create a variety of travel arrangements for the staff.
Process travel expenses for the office.  
Plan office/company events.
Offer additional support to Human Resources.

Administrative Assistant Background Profile:
At least 1-2+ years of experience in an office/administrative role.
Bachelor’s degree.
Excellent reading/writing/math skills.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint).
Ability to work well with a team.
Outstanding communication skills are a must.
Strong degree of confidentiality.
