Our client in Dallas, Texas has an immediate opening for a Paralegal on a direct hire basis.

Paralegal Role:
The Paralegal will provide high-level support to attorneys, including assisting in case preparation, legal research, document management, and client communication.
Provide advanced paralegal support to 3 attorneys.
Draft, revise, and proofread pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and other legal documents.
Assist in discovery management, including preparing discovery responses, organizing documents, and tracking deadlines.
Perform legal research on case law, statutes, regulations, and procedural rules to support case strategy.
Manage and maintain case files, both physical and electronic, using case management software.
Coordinate and schedule depositions, court hearings, arbitrations, and client meetings.
Prepare trial materials, including exhibit organization, witness lists, deposition summaries, and trial notebooks.
Provide support during trial preparation, including assisting with trial strategy and managing logistics.
Serve as a point of contact for clients, providing updates and gathering necessary information.
Prepare and track billing records, time entries, and assist with invoicing.
Communicate with external parties, such as opposing counsel, courts, and experts, ensuring timely follow-up and information exchange.
Paralegal Background Profile:
High school diploma required; associates or bachelors degree in paralegal studies, legal studies, or related field preferred.
Minimum of 7 years of paralegal experience supporting attorneys in business and commercial litigation matters.
Experience working with business clients, corporate law, or commercial disputes is highly desirable.
Certification from a national or state paralegal association (e.g., NALA or NFPA) preferred
Strong experience with litigation processes, including discovery, depositions, trial prep, and court filings.
Proficient in case management software, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and e-filing systems.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a high-pressure environment.
Exceptional attention to detail and ability to handle complex tasks with minimal supervision.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with clients, attorneys, and outside parties.
Typing speed of 65+ words per minute.
Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
