Part-Time Retail Pharmacist
Our reputable client, an established pharmacy in Crested Butte, CO, is currently seeking a dedicated Part-Time Retail Pharmacist to join their collaborative healthcare team. Part-Time Retail Pharmacist Role:
- Dispense pharmaceutical services and medication expertise in a retail pharmacy setting
- Ensure prescription accuracy, patient safety, and regulatory compliance
- Provide professional consultation services to promote community health
- Conduct medication verification, labeling, and quality control procedures
- Offer guidance on prescription medications and non-prescription remedies
- Address health inquiries, provide clinical consultations, and offer wellness advice
- Maintain strict adherence to federal and state pharmaceutical regulations
- Guide customers in selecting OTC healthcare products and nutritional supplements
- Support customers with health product education and recommendations
- Coordinate medication inventory and supply replenishment
- Mentor and supervise pharmacy technicians and student interns
- Ensure operational efficiency and safety compliance in daily pharmacy workflow
- Administer vaccinations and health screenings as required
- Deliver outstanding patient service through professional interactions
Requirements:
- Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from an ACPE accredited program
- Current Colorado State Pharmacist License
- DEA registration for handling controlled substances
- Immunization administration certification
- Strong attention to detail and ability to translate complex information to patients
- Experience with pharmacy management software and prescription processing systems
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to engage with patients
- Flexible availability for various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
