Part-Time Retail Pharmacist
Our esteemed pharmacy client in Battlement Mesa, CO, is currently in search of a dedicated Part-Time Retail Pharmacist to join their collaborative healthcare team. Responsibilities of a Part-Time Retail Pharmacist:
- Accurately process and fulfill patient prescriptions with efficiency
- Verify prescription authenticity and ensure medication safety
- Label, package, and maintain quality control of medications
- Provide professional guidance on prescription medications and OTC remedies
- Offer counseling on adverse effects, drug interactions, and therapeutic management
- Adhere strictly to federal and state pharmaceutical regulations
- Maintain prescription records, inventory documentation, and patient information
- Uphold HIPAA privacy standards for patient healthcare information
- Assist customers in selecting appropriate OTC healthcare products
- Monitor pharmaceutical stock levels and coordinate replenishment
Qualifications of a Part-Time Retail Pharmacist:
- Doctor of Pharmacy Pharm.D. degree from an ACPE accredited program
- Current State Pharmacist License in Colorado
- DEA registration for handling controlled substances
- Immunization administration certification
- Specialized disease management credentials
- Experience with pharmacy management software and prescription processing platforms
- Strong interpersonal skills for patient engagement
- Ability to handle repetitive tasks with attention to detail
- Flexibility for varying shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Mike has a passion for community service, having served as a board member for the Bear Creek Specialty Utility District (formerly Lavon Water Supply Corporation) from 2007-2013; Community Independent School District board trustee from 2013-2017; and currently serves as Lavon City Councilman, Place 2 since 2017.
